HID Hellenic Info Destination Ltd was established in 1999 with
business activities in providing advanced integrated technology services,
through the development of internet and other software applications and
services in the wider New Technologies and Internet sector.
HID, from the beginning of their business venture, established as
their primary objective the creation of pioneering and innovative products
and services in promoting and projecting Greek Tourism through the
Internet in Greek cyberspace and managed to establish its place as one
of the most important, substantive and technologically advanced Greek
companies in the industry in just a small period of time, and successfully
created a series of new innovative internet applications, services and
products.
Today, HID has built a strong track record of experience and
knowledge which continues to grow, by pursuing its initial strategy,
focusing on the two main business activities which among others include
the promotion and projection of Greek tourist products at international
levels through the creation of catalogues (websites – portals) in the
internet, the implementation and development of customized internet
applications, as well as hosting and support
services. |
|
 |
|

HID systematically creates alliances with tourist organisations,
associations, travel agencies in Greece and abroad, constantly informing of
the existence and operations of the catalogues with the use of suitable
communication, promotion and projection strategies. |
|

In Greece today, the need for growth and
benefits of integrated and qualitative services in the wider tourism sector
is imposed and it constitutes the only road to sure success and increasing
trends in Greek tourism and for all those who are a part of this.
At the same time, the Internet is changing, it expedites and improves
the broadcasting of information, projection, communication as well as the
way businesses between themselves conduct transactions, but also between
businesses and consumers.
HID being
completely aware of the current and future target market needs, continues to
invest and to evolve providing existing, much needed, tourist services
through the Internet, while planning and scheduling the construction of new
innovative services and products. |
